Therapeutic Horseback Riding Classes
Therapeutic Riding focuses on riders in small groups working to improve balance, mobility, strength, coordination, self confidence, communication skills and socialization skills.
Basic horseback riding techniques are taught to control the horse's movement, such as walking or stopping the horse. These classes are conducted by a Certified Instructor.
Our unique Cart Program allows individuals who exceed our weight limit, or otherwise cannot participate on horseback, to use our lift-assisted cart for one-on-one driving classes with our instructors. It's ideal for the elderly as well.
2019 Forms and Schedule coming soon…
Horse camps for children and youth ages 3 to 18 are scheduled at various times throughout the riding season. These classes are designed to promote self-esteem, provide positive role models, and set clear standards for responsible behavior while learning about horses in a fun and encouraging setting. Day camps can be scheduled by request for Scouts, church groups, and other youth organizations.
