The second Horses for Healing bereavement camp for young people who have experienced the death of a family member or friend will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at the Venango Area Riding for the Handicapped Association stables in Polk.

The camp for youth ages 9 to 18 is a therapeutic, fun experience in which campers learn more about grief, meet others who have had similar experiences and learn how to grow beyond their losses.

Activities will include an instructional workshop, riding with the VARHA horses and staff; cool-down activities and small group discussions.
